We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. - Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with designers to implement modern and responsive designs across multiple devices.
- Ensure all WordPress websites are optimized for speed, security, and SEO best practices.
- Customize and extend existing themes and plugins as needed.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress sites.
- Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure websites run smoothly.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent design across platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that follows WordPress coding standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in WordPress development.
Requirements: π
- Proven experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) and custom WordPress theme development.
- Solid understanding of WordPress REST API, WooCommerce, and third-party API integrations.
- Knowledge of MySQL and database management.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with SEO and website optimization techniques for faster load times and better user experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and resolve issues.
Preferred Qualifications: π
- A degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Experience with multi-site WordPress installations and enterprise-level WordPress solutions.
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js for WordPress integration.
- Knowledge of web security best practices for WordPress.
- Experience with WordPress hosting environments and tools like cPanel, SSH, and Git.
- Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for WordPress development.
- Good understanding of UI/UX design principles.
