You will work closely with other creative professionals, including illustrators, writers, and directors, to deliver high-quality 2D animations that captivate audiences and enhance storytelling.
Key Responsibilities: ⚙️
- Create 2D animations for characters, objects, backgrounds, and scenes, ensuring smooth and realistic motion.
- Collaborate with the creative team to interpret scripts and storyboards, bringing concepts to life through animation.
- Develop character designs, storyboards, and keyframes that match the artistic direction of the project.
- Maintain consistent style and quality across all animation work, meeting both artistic and technical standards.
- Refine and adjust animations based on feedback to ensure the final product aligns with the vision.
- Ensure all animations are optimized for various platforms, including digital media, TV, and web.
- Work with sound designers and voice actors to synchronize animation with audio, dialogue, and effects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve animation issues throughout the production process.
- Keep up with industry trends and new animation techniques to stay current and innovative.
Requirements: 🔑
- Proven experience in 2D animation with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
- Proficiency in 2D animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, or After Effects.
- Solid understanding of the principles of animation, including timing, spacing, and movement.
- Experience with storyboarding, character design, and keyframe animation.
- Knowledge of illustration techniques and design principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively and take constructive feedback.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain animation choices clearly to the team.
